. . . . . about hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is carried out in a clinical setting, in which hypnosis is used as a therapy or treatment for a wide variety of psychological and physiological problems. It is one of the oldest healing techniques. Hypnosis is a state of mind that is conducive to deep physical and mental relaxation and unlike drugs is not addictive or habit forming.

In this relaxed state the subconscious part of the mind is best able to respond effectively to suggestion. It can focus on the things you wish to change and on the ways you can best do so, free from excessively critical or anxious thoughts.

Nobody can ever be hypnotised against his or her will and, even when hypnotised, people can still reject any of the suggestions given if they do not conform to their personal code. This means that you are fully aware of everything that is going on around you and you can remember everything that was said.

Hypnotherapy is natural and safe has no harmful side effects, and most people readily respond to it. When administered by a professionally trained and skilled Hypnotherapist the benefits are long lasting and often permanent.

In recent years, its popularity has risen dramatically, because it is often successful where other treatments have failed.

Research information released in 2002 provides firm evidence that hypnosis can relieve pain and a later study proved that hypnosis strengthens the immune system by increasing the white blood cells.
